Who we are
Indock operates this website at indock.eu and is the data controller for the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
For anything to do with your data, email [email protected].
Information you give us
When you send a quote request or contact us through this website, we receive the information you type into the form:
- Your name and email address (required)
- Your company and country, if you provide them
- The message you write
- Which category the enquiry relates to, and the page you sent it from
- The date and time we received it
We use this only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and follow up on it. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Please do not send us special-category data (health information, for example) or anything confidential beyond what a quote actually needs.
Information collected automatically
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track you across other websites. It reports aggregate figures — page views, referrers, broad location, device type — and does not build a profile of you.
Cloudflare also hosts and protects this site, and processes connection data such as your IP address to serve pages and defend against attacks and abuse.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own. We use no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, and no third-party marketing pixels. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes.
Legal basis for using your data
- Answering your enquiry and quoting — Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering a contract; and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- Site security and aggregate analytics — Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in keeping the site available, secure, and useful.
Who else processes your data
We keep the list of providers short, and they act on our instructions:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, security, and the cookieless analytics described above.
- Web3Forms — delivers the enquiry you submit from this website to our inbox.
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer relies on the safeguards permitted under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and enquiries until the enquiry is closed, and then for a further six months, in case you come back to us. After that we delete them.
If your enquiry turns into an order, the related records are kept for as long as the business relationship lasts and for any period that tax or accounting law requires. Analytics data is aggregate and is not tied to you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted
- Ask us to restrict how we use it
- Receive the data you gave us in a portable format
- Object to processing we base on legitimate interest
Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You can also contact us through the website.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your EU member state.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS, and everything you submit is encrypted in transit. We apply a content security policy and related security headers, and we limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it to answer you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top of it.
